Wealthy Affiliate is #1 ranked way to make money Online, not The Lost Code

What is The Lost Code?

The Lost Code is a course that teaches you how to make really good money online with using Lost Money pages to promote hihgher end offers and do so with free and paid advertising !

  • Name: The Lost Code
  • Creators/Owners : Brendan Mace and Jono Armstrong
  • Price: $12.95 + 6 Up Sells and 6 Down sells
  • Found on the Warrior Plus Marketplace
  • Recommended: NO  (Continue on for the explanation)

Pros and Cons of The Lost Code

The Lost Code has some really great up sides as well as downsides!

ProsImage of Brandan Mace, the Creator of The Lost Code

  • Step by step training
  • Most of the videos are pretty long and go into detail on the exact steps to be taken
  • The processes in the Lost code are all legit
  • The strategies taught in the Lost Code are all real and will work

Cons

  • The Up sell and Down sell funnels are quite extensive and it makes this product/ course a rather expensive proposition for beginners
  • One of the claims is that you don’t need a website. And you can get by without one, but your targeted traffic with a website will make the program much better
  • The claim is that it only takes 15-20 minutes. It will take quite a while longer than that
  • The amount of information included is pretty vast and complex
  • The strategies and practices are all very sound, but to get the most out of the course, it will be needed to purchase all of the up sells
  • The traffic is a bit of an issue. There is paid traffic, social media traffic and YouTube traffic. All of which can be a complete course by themselves, and the training in the paid ads section is a little lacking which Mr Armstrong admits.
  • The sheer amount of information can result in issues for beginners.

First I’ll go over the Funnel with you so that you know what you are getting into!

In case you aren’t familiar with sales funnels, I’ll give you a heads up on up sells and down sells within a sales funnel.

This is one of the most important parts of an honest and proper review because it lets you know what is within the

sales funnel that you are going to be expected to buy in prder for the program to work as advertised, if it does at all.

The Up sells are always the big ticket options and that is where the real money is made by the owner and affiliate who is marketing the program. It is also the most expensive part of the product for the purchaser, so pay close attention!

  • Up sell#1 Done for you campaigns for The Lost Code $37
  • Up sell#2 Limitless traffic for 365 days $197
  • Up sell#3 52 weeks of group coaching $397
  • Up Sell #4 Lifetime campaigns done for you by the owners with no recurring fee for life.$197
  • Up Sell #5 Licensing – Licensing to sell The Lost Code as Your product and keep all the revenue $97
  • Up Sell #6 Personal 1 on 1 coaching from Brendan $2,000

If You choose not to take the Up Sells, you will be offered the Down sells:

  • Down Sell for #3 Is a trial version of the $397 upsell for $4.95 then recurring at $67 per month
  • Down Sell for #4 is the down sell for #4 at $4.95 trial and Then recurring $37 per month
  • Down Sell #6 is for #6 You get access to Braden’s coaching materials but no 1 on 1 $197

Sorry to be so confusing, but after all it is their funnel, or should I say Tornado!

Other Reviews for comparison

I’ve reviewed many products , and there are some better than others. But all usually have claims that it only takes a few minutes or you can make crazy amounts of money instantly! This Simply isn’t the case!

Here are a few other reviews I have done so you can have something to compare and gauge The Lost Code against:

Overview of The Lost Code

The Lost Code is a system that helps you sell the exact things they are selling you, and even offers a licensing agreement for $97 as one of the up sells that lets you sell The Lost Code as your own product and keep 100% of the earnings .

The main product that you are paying $12.95 for is a list of videos that explain what you will be doing in fairly good detail. But Buying the up sells will make the effort much easier and user friendly.

First Impressions of The Lost Code

In order to maintain honesty, I want to let you know that The Lost Code is one of those products that I’m reviewing with a little doubt about.

It’s not as much doubt about whether it works, but about whether it is something that I would feel comfortable recommending to my readers! When there is this much activity in a sales funnel, there is a possibility that you could really be getting a great product! But there is also the possibility that you can get left high and dry if you don’t purchase all the up sells !

I decided I will give it a fair chance, but I have seen so many big promise products like this turn out to be nothing but in this image The Lost Code Cmaims to make big moneyfiller, or recycled P.L.R. that it get’s a little tough to see past the corny name of the product and claims to find the value!

This simple piece of information will not cloud my judgement ad I will give it a chance and pass along the very best review possible to my readers !

It is also a bad sign when the product or service is clouded and covered by claims of making big money if you use it ! Large profit margins are often made in affiliate marketing, but seldom over night and seldom withouyt some learning curve issues and failures. You have to learn from the failures and try again to do it better. Sometimes multiple failures is part of great success! But very seldom if ever does success come right off the bat!

What is inside the Lost Code?

Inside the Lost Code Members area you will find video tutorials that are true and concise, but far from complete! This is inScreenshot image of The Lost Code Sales Video an effort to force you to buy the upsells in order to get all the value from the system.

To be fair though there is information that is of high value! Like I said though it is incomplete.

But lets start with the entertaining yet corny sales video depicting a secret society of bad people that are trying to keep The Lost Code of making money online a secret, and the brave owners and their team trying to get their hand son it.

It’s a far cry better than watching some nimrod with a plain white power point presentation tell you how his family fell apart because he couldn’t figure out how to make money online ! There was a lot of thought and effort put into this sales viodeo !

After I bought The Lost Code I received several e-mails from Brendan and Jono with what was actually quite a bit of goodThis is a graphic that is included with the product e mail when The Lost Code is purchased value bonus items for free !

Jono Armstrong gives invites to his Facebook Page as well as giving you 2 different training programs for both beginner and advanced affiliate marketing, that he claims makes him $287 per day. I thought that was a nice touch!

The Lost Code is a video tutorial system where the different aspects and strategies are discussed.

A simple explanation of the different training tutorial modules:This image is the menu of tutorial videos in The Lost Code

  1. The First video is the Welcome video and it is just that. A thank you and introduction.
  2. The overview of The Lost Code Explains the bare basics of how the training strategy works.
  3. The case studies shows the earnings and funnel proof of how the Lost Code has performed as well as other products.
  4. The money pages explains the use of landing pages etc
  5. Audition Money Method Explains the strategy of taking applications for phone contacts where the customer asks you to sell them the high end product.
  6. Simple little promos Is a video that is almost an hour long with Jono teaching the use of OBS to create YouTube videos and making nice bonus pages with Commission Gorilla
  7. Your Very Own Webinar explains how you can use a made for you webinar to promote the high ticket item
  8. Traffic method #1 Is an explanation of using YouTube free traffic.
  9. Traffic Method #2 is a video that explains the basics of setting up Bing ads.
  10. Traffic method #3 The three underground sources of traffic in this tutorial are social media sources.
  11. List Building Hacks And last but not least, this one is self explanatory. Explanations of building an E mail list and how to do so.

There are also several integration such as Get Response and Click Funnels that are incorporated in the funnel strategy.

check out a better way to start making money online than The Lost Code

My Opinion of The Lost Code

I’ve seen quite a few make money online products and have done reviews on many products ! The Lost Code reminds me of Increaserr in many ways! I have found many of the products and services to either be scams or just not of great quality and value. The Lost Code is not one of those.

The tutorials and the amount of information included is very good and of great quality for a product that only costs $12.95!this is a graphic from The Lost Code sales page But like many products the up sells are the real value and they are prices as such!

I did not review the up sells, but it appears that the up sells are the truest value and will enable you to optimize your earning efforts with the product!

My two biggest issues with The Lost Code are :

  1. The sales page is emphatic that it is user friendly to newbies, but these strategies are beyond the grasp of most beginners in affiliate marketing!
  2. The traffic strategies are risky for beginners to lose quite a bit of money trying to promote with paid ads and minimal instruction on paid Bing ads.

I think for most people , checking the Lost Code out won’t be any problem and you may very well get value from it! After all it is only $12.95 and has a risk free refund if you aren’t happy with the purchase.

So if you are interested Check out the lost code.

Better ways to get started as a beginner!

I won’t call The Lost Code a scam or recommend that you don’t check it out, because I see that there is value and it is legit. But I truly believe that there is a much better way to get started making money online !

Most products and services these days make big claims that a website isn’t needed, but then they refer you to their website to learn more. The absolute best practice is to have a relative website and be generating free traffic already! Even if you have a very young website that is only generating 1000 visits per month, that website can save you money big time !

picture of a lady reading a is The Lost Code A Scam reviewJust imagine, that you have 1000 people coming to your website who are already looking for the type of information that you have! Traffic doesn’t get more targeted !

Now imagine having to pay for traffic that isn’t nearly as targeted for $.50 per click. That’s $500 for lower quality traffic than you can get for free with a website!

The people selling these products don’t promote that you have a website because they claim you don’t need to spend the time to get a website ranked. But they do promote the idea of using You Tube which also takes time to build traffic! The only choices left are social media and paid ads which everyone teaches.

It isn’t that difficult to learn the basics of SEO and rock that targeted traffic!

My #1 Ranked system for getting started making money online!

I may be a little partial because I used the exact same training, tutorials, and community of thousands of like-minded members to start my online business and learn to make money online !

The system I used to get started is called Wealthy Affiliate and I am still a member there today ! I love it and completely Wealthy Affiliate is better to get stared with than The Lost Codebelieve in Wealthy Affiliate! And for that reason it is the only online training to make money online that I have ever recommended to my readers with a 100% approval !

My trust with my readers and offering them the best quality is my biggest concern, and for that reason I only promote things to them that I use and believe in!

If you would like to check Wealthy Affiliate out you can do so with no risk at all and no credit card! You can sign up for your free membership today and it’s still free for as long as you want it! There is no trial period !

When you get there look me up! My user name is MikeC69!

In Conclusion

We have discussed the product known as The Lost Code, and determined that it is not a scam, but at the same time it’s not exactly the best choice for a beginner with no experience ! I then gave you information on the exact training that I used to get started online and have offered a link to Wealthy Affiliate so you can get your free membership and check it out!

I want to thank you for taking the time to read my review of The Lost Code ! If you have further questions, comments or suggestions please feel free to leave them in the comments section below !

It is with your feedback that I can better serve my readers !

Have a wonderful day, and the best of success to you!

  1. To be honest, I got turned off just looking at the prices. I hate these kind of products. It’s exactly like MOBE that was shut down a few months ago; they were selling high ticket items (considerably much higher than the lost code) and the system worked exactly the same way as the lost code, having to promote the system that was promoted to you, in order to make money.

MOBE got shut down, so I think that it’s only a matter of time before this gets shut down too. I won’t take the risk.

    1. That’s a good idea Reyhana!

These kinds of offers and products are hard to call scams, because they work to a point

but it takes the purchase of all the up sells to see if it works!

      Mike

  2. Even in the digital age, there just doesn’t seem to be a consistent reliable substitute for applied education, meaningful content and lots of hard work. Anyone trying to sell me the “easy” path to riches is just wasting my single non-renewable resource – TIME!

Thanks a lot for sharing. It’s a great service you’re providing, Mike.

    All the best,
    Norman

    1. Thanks for your kind words and your comments!

If you have any further questions please let me know! I’ll be glad to help in any way I can!

      Best of success!

  3. Mike,
Thanks for the review of “The Lost Code”; I am new to affiliate marketing and although this has a very small price tag to begin not something I would want to be involved with.
I can understand where you say they are not a scam, but I would feel guilty selling people something they cannot use not knowing what they were purchasing.

    1. Thank you for your comment Susan!

Sometimes these products and services put you on a slippery slope! I don’t want to call something a scam that isn’t! But at the same time, I don’t feel comfortable promoting questionable, low quality stuff and therefore I won’t recommend that someone else do it!

The training and value inside Wealthy Affiliate is completely unreal, and to this date is the only make money online training I recommend because I know it is on the up and up and doesn’t teach promoting low quality or scam materials!

      Best of success!

      Mike

  4. Nice detailed review. I’ve been searching for the best money making program for me to make money as a student. Honestly, I don’t really know how to make money online and this review gives me a better opinion about the Lost Code program. Some people trying to promote this program for me and promise me that this program can give a good amount of money, but I do not really trust anyone unless they’re already proven with any program they promote. So, that for this review and I’ll check it up in detail later.

    1. Thank you Amer!

It is best to approach anything with cautious optimism !

I promote Wealthy Affiliate because that is the exact program that I used and know for a fact that it works! So I have no hesitation about recommending it to people who want to start earning money online.

Just because a product or service isn’t a scam doesn’t mean that it will be the right fit for everyone. That was my biggest issue with the Lost Code !

      Thanks

      Mike

  5. Hi there! I just finished reading your review of the lost code and thought I would just offer my opinion. You see, I’ve had a bit of experience with Brandan Mace in the past and I know that all his products follow the same pattern. You have summed everything up very well here in your review.

This guy always makes products that appear to be the solution to your financial issues. But in reality what you actually get is a half finished course that barely gets you started before you realize that you need to pay hundreds of dollars for the upsell. And even when you do purchase the upgrade, there’s certainly no guarantees of success with Mr Mace! In my opinion this guy is a really good scam artist. You say this product isn’t a scam, but going on my past experience, I would stay well away from this.

    Thanks for the review!

    1. Thank you for your comment Andrew!

I did say that the product isn’t a scam. But I also said that I wouldn’t recommend it like you said.

The reason I won’t recommend such things is the lack of actionable value that the product or service delivers on, and the amount of money you need to spend to blindly see if the up sells help.

Have a great day! If there is anything I can help with, or you have more questions feel free to let me know!

      Mike

  6. I find myself on this site a lot and you have always given me accurate information so thanks! I have come to learn that if you give something a “NO” it is probably best to steer clear. Many people online try to lure people in with clever psychological tricks and big promises.

Once they give you a little taste they try and reel you in with upsells. To me it seems dishonest to do this because most places have most of their value in the upsells and are not transparent. Unfortunately it seems to work (otherwise they wouldn’t keep doing it!). I think overloading people with information can discourage them from using the information effectively.

That sales funnel is very confusing to me. While it may not strictly be a scam, the crazy upsells usually make me weary of programmes like this.

    Thanks for the review!

    1. The Lost Code is definitely one of those products with an extensive sales funnel! They want to squeeze every cent they can from you !

      Mike
